  12. ok, I ftp'd to utopia.hacktic.nl and went under pub/c64/
  13. and I downloaded some programs.  They were like this;
  14.     double_c.lnx.gz
  15. I un gzipped it, the unlynx'ed it.

  17.     Now here is the problem.
  18. I want basic programs to type in.  I don't want to sacrifice a cable. 
  19. When I pull this up after it has been unziped and all that, when I pull
  20. it up in a dos editor it is just a bunch of unidentifyable characters.
  21.  
  22.     What I am getting at is how and where do I find programs to type
  23. into my c64 and in particular a disk copy program.  If anyone has any
  24. information as to if I am going about this wrong or has a program that
  25. I can type in PLEASE let me know.
